  1. Hi! My name is Fluent and I am an RPG addict. 2. Congrats, Khalija! Now we can truly enjoy the game again, and even get the Champion Edition bonuses to boot!
  3. I'm all patched up now! Woot! Thanks to whoever made that possible, wherever you are!!
  4. Khalija, don't get your hopes up *too* much, but I just started Steam and an update queued for Pillars! It took a few minutes to validate, and now the entire 5.9 GB file is incoming. Weird. I had the game installed, so I'm not sure what's up. I did open a ticket with Steam a few days ago, so maybe they are getting around to fixing it. Maybe try restarting your Steam client and see if it updates for you as well.
  5. Sorry, Khalija, for the error! I posted that immediately when I saw a 1.3 GB update coming in for the game after I purchased the Champion edition, but later realized that was simply the Champion edition goodies downloading, not the patch.
  6. I purchased the Champion Edition upgrade and it still won't patch.
  7. Can someone from Obsidian fix this? I am trying to write an article about this game for RPGWatch.com and I can't continue my game because of the game-breaking bugs in version 1.02. Yes, I'm playing a review copy, but I think we should still be getting access to updates all the same. Please let us know, it's been 2 days now and still can't play the patched version. Thanks!
  8. The patch won't even show up on my version, though. Steam just doesn't acknowledge that a patch exists for the game. And mine is a review copy as well, but I was under the impression that they have no restrictions.
  9. Do review copies that were given a week early of release still have access to the patch?
  10. Yep, I've tried all that and still no patch. Steam just sits there and you wouldn't even know a patch was released because nothing happens.
  11. Anyone from Obsidian have anything to say about it? Any ideas? It's day 2 since the patch and I sitll can't patch my game.
  12. I tried to verify three times already. It verifies fine, but the version is still 1.02.58. No clue how to get this to work. I've restarted Steam several times, restarted my computer, nothing seems to help.
  13. Beuller...Beuller....anyone have any clue as to what is going on here? Still can't play it hours later...
  14. It doesn't seem to update on any server I use. I've tried US - Philadelphia, US - New York, US - San Jose...no update.
