Same problem. If it helps I notice that I can't add Hirivas or grieving mother to the party. These are at this point the two characters I've never used. Kana who was in the party briefly is addable.

Also having the same thing on the second floor at the inn at the player fortress,,,,,

Whenever I go into the Gilded vale inn I get a black screen with a cursor, and sound in the background. (Would include save file if someone would be kind enough to show me the Path for a STEAM installation)

I'm trying to swpa Kana back into the party, he appears on the map but not as a party member. You can talk to him including dialog "Lets be on our way" but he does not join the party. (What is the path for save games on STEAM? the thread supposedly dealing with this wa sun-helpful)
