Yup, tried all that. The only thing I haven't been able to try is swapping out my kotor2.exe file for the one securom has. I tried contacting them, but they haven't gotten back to me. That was about a week ago =/

Hello all. I have recently dug out my old copy of KotoR 2 and installed it on my Vista 64 laptop. No matter what I do, I cannot get the game to start. When it runs the configuration, it says my nVidia drivers are non-existent. After that, when I run the game, it simply gives me an "Application had an error" message. Below is the details of the message. Has anyone else encountered this in particular? Must I go back to my desktop if I wish to play KotoR 2? Thanks in advance for your help! While bumbling around in the sound folders for Kotor2, I managed to find an interesting pile of files I think others might get a kick out of. If I remember, someone posted a few compiled elements of some, but not the whole thing. The contents of these folders? Conversations held within the HK Droid Factory! If I recall, they are under streamvoice/298 and 299. Course, the other interesting bit is that from various sources, one can find the door to the HK Factory in the military base on Telos (the one where you took the shuttle to go to meet Atris) though it says it will not open till later. Course, we all know that's cause it's removed, but it is rather interesting to see. Just thought people might get a kick out of this -Aaron, wondering if someone would be light-chucks...
