Xoti's lantern, is it intended?

The lantern has an en enchantment of Spell Resis Arua. It currently works both ways, which means it can block buffs. With a very high religious skill, the aura could be like +30% Spell Resis.  I found it when my characters constantly miss priest buffs. After checking the combat log, it shows xoti's lantern actually did this. So, my question is, is this intended or a bug?

And about "uncanny luck", is it also work both ways?

Would really love to hear a dev chime in on this. I have to think it’s a big; why give your healer an item that blocks heals?

Similar issue also happens to Tekehu.

As a master water he blocks the water keyword healing spell. 

I don't know these are intended or a bug.

Oh, that’s right. I haven’t spent much time with him, but I do recall seeing that.

Jumping on this to corroborate the observations with Tekehu. Tekehu is not healed by Moonwell heals as he is immune to all Water spells and not just offensive Water spells.
