Does reverse-pickpocketing a bomb require the explosives skill?

The Explosives skill on the wiki page states "The Explosives skill covers the use of bombs, noisemakers, and similar devices. When throwing explosives, this skill is used to prevent unfortunate mishaps. The more powerful the explosive, the higher the risk."

 

So a character can just slip in a bomb safely get away with a successful bomb assassination with no need for explosive skill right?

Seems to rely more on sleight of hand. Was able to successfully reverse pickpocket a grenade a few hours ago with only 3 in explosives (around 5 sleight of hand). You've got to try it — way more entertaining than backstab and usually kills the target outright.

 

Just make sure to have the bomb in your inventory, not a quick slot.

Considering throwing them is quiet.. can you just sit in stealth and throw 3-4 bombs, then move back so they dont find you, repeat?
