Romance & Companions wishes (NON-SPOILERS)

Recommended Posts

The companion relationship dialogus fire too soon. It's a bug that will get fixed. Maybe that's what you mean. Apart from that: If you tell them to shut up, they don't come back to the topic. So no problem, in my opinion.

Regarding the bathhouse: I'm from Germany. There are a lots of medieval festivals here and it's not a good medieval festival without a wooden bathtub full of naked people. Get over it. Even my grandmother could get over that.

"Artlessly and vulgarly"?

Serafen is artless and vulgar, but that's his character. For the rest, I don't think it's in any way out of the ordinary. Especially given the ... social status of many of the people you talk to.

There is no such thing as too much sex. ;)

Eh. In real life maybe, but in a game it can get to *really* distracting levels. I don't find that to be true about PoE 2, but I *did* find it to be true of Witcher 3.

I would hardly accuse Pillars of being vulgar. I mean in a game where people can rend souls apart and call fire down from the heavens is okay but people being horny isn't realistic and is vulgar? No it isn't realistic but if you if you can ignore it what's the issue?

You act as if you're being attacked by horny characters like you swatted a beehive.

I just wish my pal, Gina, could be romanced. Bird people are cool. That’s all. It’s fine that she’s not, I still like her character.

Weeell... we still don't know for sure she hasn't got a cloaca, right? I guess Hiravias never found out.

Apparently their are console commands to remove underwear and unmask genitalia, so....I guess you could find out if you really care that much.

I am INCREDIBLY MAD ONLINE that I couldn't have carnal relations with the Eothas statue.

There is way, way more sex talk in PoEII than there every was in PoEI.

I find it very distracting and uncalled for. My companions want to **** me. My shipmates want to **** me. Way too many NPCs talk about ****ing. There are even nude character models.

For me this is really distasteful. Not in a puritanical way, mind you, I'm a gay rights and sex ed advocate, so talking about sex isn't out of the ordinary for me. But in my opinion the game could have done without it.

Totally agree. It actually made me cringe.

What do you mean? I'm pretty sure you're inside him for most of the game.

LMAO

In all seriousness, though, the scene that comes to mind when I think of the over-display of sexuality in Witcher 3 is when you first meet Kiera Metz and she's nude in a bathtub showing off her titties, and then continues with her "romance".

There is absolutely no need for that whatsoever. It doesn't impact the plot, the character in question is defined entirely by the sex-plot, etc. It's just an excuse to have a bunch of nudity and sex, IMHO.

the sex talk with companion is a Bug , their dialogues are messed up . Some are firing too soon , and lot is missing . The next patch should fix that .

For the shipmates..all I can say : Darn lucky!  :getlost:

for the nude...it's a BATH HOUSE . NOBODY KEEP THEIR CLOTHES IN A BATH HOUSE , ever .

Pal Gina could be ok romance, if she remains in role, and keep her angry bird nature, and duty above perv things. She does not cute.

However now as we have naked orlans, we can assume that all kinks are covered, and it is better to move on to other aspects.

Pale Elf Tailor girl was very clear that she does not want to eat us, need to respect that.

But it would be great if she had something to say, and more lines, comments, banters, some dialogues about quest, and connection with Pal Gina since "gods sucks".

normal bath house though..

you can wear a towel , but everyone else is naked . Nobody would tell you to take it off homewhever , but you can if you want to .

yeah , but I assumed that was due to the model of our character....while every npc in the bath house..is like stuck there maybe ?

In all seriousness, though, the scene that comes to mind when I think of the over-display of violence  in Witcher 3 is when you kill that one monster for a contract and cut his head of.

There is absolutely no need for that whatsoever. It doesn't impact the plot, the character in question is defined entirely by being killed, etc. It's just an excuse to have a bunch of violence and cut of heads, IMHO.

I am an extremely sexual being and could probably recognize hundreds of pornstars just by their bodies, but if you get off from the sexuality in games you're weird to me. I too dislike the mixing of soft-childish sexual connotation in games.

It's basically like watching game of thrones. Who watches these softcore scenes and not skip them? I am here for the movie and its lore, not the cheap sex scenes which are obviously there only for those who have a problem or are 15 years old and have never seen porn before

The game has an M rating for blood and gore, nudity, sexual themes, strong language, and violence. If I'm playing a game with an M rating, I expect content with an M rating. If the sex theme is objectionable, the OP should avail him/herself of games with more preferable ratings.

Exactly. If I'm buying a game with an M rating, I get upset if I don't see some FF nudity, hard drugs, gibs, and gratuitous expletives.

Preferably at the same time.
