A couple of issues

slappyh

Question

Using Steam on Windows. Story Mode. Normal.

1. Ezren closed the Academy. The "When Permanently Closed" effect did not happen ("On closing you may shuffle a spell from your discard pile into your deck"). I don't remember the scenario, sorry.

2. Sajan - Just about every time now he has an exclamation point next to him saying he can offer help. But when I click on his character there is nothing that he can use.

#2 was a once in a while thing, now it happens almost every time I have a combat situation.

Thanks -

Steve

... he has an exclamation point next to him saying he can offer help. But when I click on his character there is nothing that he can use.

This is something of a well-known issue at this point.  One of the devs even commented on it during a recent "Ask Me Anything" event over on reddit.

For me, the most annoying bug that has appeared and appears intermittently is when you get a UI indicator that a character can help with a roll, but they don't have anything that can help. Unfortunately, it isn't something that can be fixed in one location, we have to manually identify any cards that might be causing that state and report it to programming. Sad times.

I don't think I've seen anything specific regarding your first issue, but situational bugs like that have popped up a few times before.  Maybe someone can find a way to reproduce it...

OK, thanks for the reply. I figured the Academy one may have just been a too much going on at once type of thing. I haven't seen anything else like that yet. And the exclamation point answer they gave makes sense. I cannot imagine how difficult it was to program this game with all the possible options!

I like what someone on the AMA said about role-playing it and pretending that they want to help but can't.

Thanks again!
