Inflammatory post aside, the article does bring a point that I find interesting about the US. Despite saying that it's a nation of immigrants there's very little variety, most groups tend to self segregate and you end up with large ethnic populations in some States. So you end up with a lot of hyphenated Americans and the rest that copy the trend of putting another nationality in front of yours. 1 I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you. This article is making a rather common sociological trend sound sinister. When people are free to live anywhere they want they do tend to sort themselves out. But I live in the sticks and since all my neighbors are animals I live in the most diverse neighborhood of them all. Is it a bot? I think that is a common pattern across these forums. I always attributed to someone using their alts to express some of their more extreme views, or at least roleplay as someone else. Still, I'd say that the quality of alts has gone downhill in the past few years, they are just getting lazier and lazier. 1 I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"* *If you can't tell, it's you.
