Gorgon Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I got this far. It is necessary for the government to intervene in the economy to protect citizens. That's not specific enough, it could mean anything from taxation or environmental and safety regulations to economic stimulus packages. I understand that the question is useful for giving political inclinations but it is also meaningless. Is the government protecting the people from the economy like it was some fire breathing dragon, is it possible for the government to do anything at all without intervening in the economy in some way, is the government protecting the people against income inequality with taxation. These are not the same parameters. Na na na na na na ... greg358 from Darksouls 3 PVP is a CHEATER. That is all.

These are not the same parameters. Yes, these sorts of tests are always rather poor and difficult to interpret and answer properly if you consider the questions literally and/or in depth, and lead to many instances of, "This is probably going to push me a certain way even though I know it wouldn't if I could just give more context to my answer..." kirottu Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 To be fair that was pretty loaded question. 3 This post is not to be enjoyed, discussed, or referenced on company time.
algroth Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 To be honest, so many of the questions are either vague or require answers with asterisks that in the end, as with each of these tests, the results are bound to be innaccurate and thus pretty pointless. That said, here's what I got: My Twitch channel: https://www.twitch.tv/alephg Currently playing: Roadwarden
Bartimaeus Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 (edited) Yes, the test is pretty bad. Vague and/or inexact questions, sweeping statements and broad sentiments that don't hold up to any sort of scrutiny, and totally missing some pretty central issues like capital punishment and immigration and whatever else, it's really just supposed to give you a vague idea of your political leanings than anything else. I gave out only one "strong agree" and "strong disagree" each throughout the entire thing - I don't feel comfortable taking strong stances against such imprecise and undetailed statements. You go into more specific and detailed issues like that political/candidate leaning website that was posted back during election season, and then I can take stronger stances on specific issues. Valsuelm Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I got this far and gave up. I've never seen a survey with those five options that wasn't pure malecowdung.

Guard Dog Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I've seen worse but that one was pretty bad. And absolute absence of nuance. Oh well, it's just for entertainment and discussion purposes anyway.
