You'll have to wait for the next Q&A if you want to ask them something. If Ydwin doesn't get funded, she's still in the game as a sidekick. I think it would be weird to make DLC "upgrading" her to a companion, but I guess anything is possible. Likewise with the sea monsters and the fishing. Which means she will be in the basegame, and probably won't get remade into a companion later. But that's just speculation. But usually it's to rectify a misconception or to clarify a design choice. I think one of the reasons is not to influence discussion too much.
