213374U Posted February 15, 2017 Share Posted February 15, 2017 Yeah, it was mentioned in the KS thread when it was launched: Francis Ford Coppella/American Zoetrope is working with others to bring APOCALYPSE NOW to video games, allowing the player to make choices independent of the movie in RPG style with an emphasis more like survival horror than action-shooter. No clue if it'll be good, but it certainly seems to have ambition, at least. My thoughts? Also extended the time by quite a bit: the campaign will be running for 460 days more. They couldn't get funding on KS, so they're conning convincing people to donate money with them directly. Now they're asking for over 5 times what they originally asked for after having had their Kickstarter fail, while having it on their own shady website instead of Kickstarter. So at least that part makes sense. But it sure doesn't look like they're going to raise very much.
