Sorry for the double-post; I had an additional question regarding Novice's Suffering.

 

Does it still not work with Avenging Storm?

I don't have a druid at that high of a level; if I did, I'd test it myself.

What do you mean? Hits with fists (and Novice's Suffering) will not trigger Avenging Storm (the 8th level druid spell) or what? Never heard of that, no idea to be honest.

 

Or do you mean if Novice's Suffering works with Spiritshift weapons (which they still not do - it's intended)?

The unarmed barb sounds like a lot of fun.

 

I thought about an unarmed priest because he hasn't any DMG bonuses but can get superhig MIG which works great with Novice's Suffering. And the high ACC bonus and the fact that garzing doesn't matter much works against the priest's low starting ACC without the need to use those special deity weapon talents. Maybe I'll give it a try.

 

By the way Novice's Suffering still has some issues: for example Avenging Storm doesn't work with it.

Funny. I totally forgot that I said that. Can't even remember now that this was an issue. It may very well still be the case that it doesn't work. I now remember that I once did an unarmed druid and maybe discovered this bug - and then forgot.
