I've been playing Story time and notice that adventurers are created with their health bars half full. I thought it was supposed to be this way to encourage you to rest more often but now I'm not so sure. They also come in with lower health from party management but not all the time. I can't find anything that mentions Story Time after doing a search on the forums. It's not a big deal but it's starting to bug me. I'd like to know whether this is the way it's supposed to be.
