Feature Request: SMAA anti-aliasing would be awesome

Nicholas Steel

Question

SMAA (Not to be confused with FXAA, MSAA, SSAA etc.) anti-aliasing would be very welcome. Currently we only have MSAA which can be very taxing on the computer hardware and doesn't work on every kind of effect.

I hate FXAA and do not want to see it implemented in this game because it simply blurs the image which increases eye strain, makes everything appear slightly out of focus and doesn't succeed at all well at eliminating aliasing.

You're spamming this forum with quite unimportant stuff. The real important bug reports are washed away by all your new topics. Why not open a thread named "Improvements" or something like that where you write down all these things in a list?

I did that, and was told that it would be best to have separate topics for each issue. So I finally got around to splitting them up, hence the sudden barrage of new topics.
