Graphic bug after the patch 2.01

Frár

Question

Hi guys,

After i patched my game (version 2.01) i've got some strange graphic bug with the expension item. Not all of them but the majority.

Anyone got a suggestion to fix this?

Same here. I tend to look at everything PoE-related through rose-coloured glasses, but that's a bit much even for me. ;)

In buildings the pink squares appear in place of the fire effects, as for the outdoors, refer to the image above. I'm going to take a look at my videocard's drivers next.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was just being stupid. There are two patches, one for the basegame (~80 MB), the other one (~175 MB) for the expansion.

Also got this, and when I change maps it covers the whole screen. Did a reinstall and kept the save games and did not install the latest patch and it was fine. Installed the patch and it came back. It's something to do with the new patch and the white March. Basically if I open my inventory the soulbound weapons are bright pink as is the lizard pet. When I transfer to a new white March map the whole map turns pink - unplayable. If I go back to a core game map, the new items are bright pink but it doesn't spread to cover the map. Can't play much further in the expansion with the current patch but it seems to be related to some of the items, and definitely the soulbound bow, staff and sword.

"Those who look upon gods then say, without even knowing their names, 'He is Fire. She is Dance. He is Destruction. She is Love.' So, to reply to your statement, they do not call themselves gods. Everyone else does, though, everyone who beholds them."
"So they play that on their fascist banjos, eh?"
"You choose the wrong adjective."
"You've already used up all the others.”

BTW I downloaded the patch from GOG, not sure if maybe something happened on their side.

Hello Rheingold,

Thank you for your answer. I too have downlaod the patch from gog. But i'm not sure the pb is on their side. It looks like when we applied the patch, the meshes are missing.

Yeah, I'm not sure if the problem is from GOG, I just thought that I should mention in case it does turn out to be relevant.

Yes confirmed that installing both patches is necessary.

Though it's currently a little misleading on GOG as the info for both patches say: 2.0 (GOG-9) --> 2.01 (GOG-10) which lead me to think you only need install one of them.

I think GOG should probably be supplying a little more info in their changelog.

I downloaded and installed WM and both 2.01 patches from GOG (said Installed Successfully) and got nothing, black screen. What?

If I mash Enter I get a partial menu that doesn't work. Version 2.01.0721.

I've posted this on another thread, emailed Support, waiting for help.

In order to get 2.0 I had to delete everything and download from the beginning. Hope not again.
