How many times has that video been posted here now? 7-8? I know Mkreu has posted it twice.

I'd love to see this topic turn into a real discussion because I find it fascinating that the same pressures that drove the breakup of the US in 1860 are still around today and are actually mounting again (not slavery, that BS will NEVER happen again) namely the decline of federalism and the powers of the states being usurped by the federal government.

But this thread is to far past the absurd point to do anything but mock it. So I'll just say, Hooray for the USA CAS.

And yet none of you Americans feel the least bit guilty and immediately hate your hard work and success...clearly it needs to be shown more times to get the message across   :teehee:

Native peoples' group seeks end to 'US occupation' of Alaska, Hawaii

Representatives of these regions asked the UN to ensure their right to self-determination.

The indigenous peoples of Alaska and Hawaii appealed to the international community to ensure their right to self-determination in connection with the "illegal annexation" and "occupation" of the United States.

Today, representatives of indigenous peoples in Geneva distributed a statement in which they asked to raise the issue under consideration in the framework of the UN Council on Human Rights review of the human rights and freedoms in the United States. Review is scheduled for May 11.

The document indicates that Alaska and Hawaii "in 1959 were absorbed by the United States through fraud and deliberate violation of the mandate and principles of the United Nations, and the process of self-determination."

Authors of the statement of the UN call to correct this mistake.
