Does it persist when you click on other characters? Mine doesn't flicker, but it's always persistent in or out of combat. ...But each character has special abilities, even combat only ones, showing when selected. Unless it's getting in the way or causing mayhem, I think it's just part of Kana's abilities. At any rate, I'll leave the thread open for others to comment just in case I'm wrong.
