I'd guess all items can be either obtained via quests or bought, so that you don't have to pass on them if you cannot follow a quest chain. Does it allow for two of the same named item? Aru-Brekr (DR10, Preservation, Ranged Deflection Bonus) - found on the Dozen thugs while doing the quest Built to Last for the Crucible Knights. Find all pieces of the sword and bring them to smith in Crucible Keep 4 parts, hidden in several levels of catacombs (Endless Paths) Exeptional sword, one of the best 2H weapons in game. Keep your eyes open, while searching parts... isn't simple task. High skill in mechanics required. Awesome. My main character is using Estocs and I'm loving my upgraded Drake's Bell but this will definitely be the last weapon I find for him. I can't remember the exact location, but they're scattered around the Endless Paths. They're easy to find if you are thorough in exploring every level. Once you have them, bring them back to the Crucible Keep blacksmith, and he'll reforge it. Oh, for Tidefall: It's in the gold pile to the south of Cail the Silent in the cave at Searing Falls. Has a huge stun proc, very strong (Superb, Stunning) Cgadob's Hazel is also deep in Endless Paths (12 or 13 I think). It procs what looks like unnerfed Jolting Touch on crits, meaning it can potentially AE multiple mobs for 60+ damage each when it procs (Exceptional, Marking, Spell Striking: Jolting Touch) Vierna's Leaves (Superb, Vicious) is also in Endless Paths (earlier than the previous two, IIRC) Drawn in Spring is pretty deep (13 I believe) in Endless Paths (Superb, Wounding) Vengiatta Rugia (Light Armor, DR 10, -20% Recovery, Superb, Retaliation, Sneak Attack Bonus) - Bottom of Endless Paths Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

No, but the one you can get in the treasure pile near Cail the Silent you can get muuuch earlier in the game. Somebody mentioned you need 10+ Mechanics to find the hidden container but I haven't tested it yet. Just hire a rogue, pick a background with bonus to mechanic, and go only mechanics at levelup. I have a mechanics specialist I leave at my stronghold and only bring out for such occasions :D The sword is called Tidefall, has Superb, Draining, and Wounding.
