The biggest flaw of the Stronghold is that it is underdeveloped and lacks consequence for the story. It is completely uninvolved in whatever you are doing, even if it can be affected by what you are doing. That, I think, is its biggest flaw. It needs more story to put it bluntly. Perhaps you should actually visit and subdue the lands near it to officially gain the title of 'Lord of Caed Nua' or whatever the title attached to that place is. Or maybe we could have some text adventures for the adventures? The mechanics are already there and it'd be a wonder to replace that timer with some interesting stories.

It already has a talking chair, why not also give us a genie, a magic screen, and Mr. Window?

Without spoiling too much then you do meet another with the same condition as her. It has a perfectly viable explanation in the lore.

The stronghold definitely is an after thought to the game and IMHO was implemented poorly.   I never go there unless required to since there is no benefit.    I've upgraded most of it and all it seems to be is a money sink which is irrelvent because I am drowing in money.    The economy in this game isn't one of its bright spots.    The biggest disappointment with the stronghold is that the events are very poorly detailed to the player.    As an example criminals come and you have an option to pay them off or escort them but nowhere does it indicate what either of those options means.    Where am I escorting him and why?    If I don't pay him off what happens?    It could have been a cool addendum to the game but as it is implemented it is just a weak distraction.     Facebook game is an apt description.

Criminals give you penalties to security and prestige for as long as they stay. Paying them or escorting them gets rid of them earlier and frees you from the malus. It's all in the UI.

Yes you do meet another entity living in a non traditional item and yes it does make perfect sense from a lore aspect.

Could be better, atm i have that unpaid hirelings bug happening =/...also the "turn" history is all messed up.

You could ignore the unpaid bug with hireling, its nothing to do with it, during payday it get auto deducted anyway.

Where in the UI?   Admittedly I could have missed it but there have been several events where the options didn't make any sense.   This is just the one I remembered.    In this example nowhere did it say the consequence for the criminal being there (penalties you speak of) nor what effect either option would have.   I was just presented with a "there is a criminal in the stronghold" dialog (two sentences if I remember correctly) and two choice which made no sense.    Escort him to where?    Why would I escort a criminal?   It was just bazaar.
