Seems those who got Digital Fun Pack and Digital Strategy Guide are gonna be screwed up by the policy Obsidian took. How about Obsidian release Champion Edition to Royal Edition Upgrade on Steam/GoG? We Champion Edition owners are stuck in an awkward position that either we pay $45 to get Hero Edition to Royal Edition Upgrade or buy a complete new copy of $90 Royal Edition. How about making a Champion Edition to Royal Edition Upgrade for $30? Obsidian can earn extra $30 from those who got screwed and still willing to buy the upgrade just for the desire getting a complete Royal Edition on Steam/GoG. Thank you! That is Hero Edition to Royal Edition Upgrade. 89.99 - 44.99 = 45.00 The Real Champion Edition to Royal Edition Upgrade should be 89.99 - 59.99 = 30.00 And indeed my tone does not sound respectful. Steam and GoG handles orders. I don't have champion edition, but you should check out steam or whatever and see if they have that upgrade. if their website don't have what you are looking for, contact customer service. If I have the Champion Edition + Royal Edition upgrade in my cart, it shows the $15 off. If not, there might be some issue in the upgrade logic. If you backed the Fun Pack + the strategy guide on kickstarter / the backer portal that's basically the content of the so called Royal Edition on steam. I would assume that you get the missing content compared to the champion edition on the backer portal on thursday, so you don't need to buy an upgrade for the Royal Edition Edit: I checked this on steam because I'm in the same situation (backed the Fun Pack + Guide). I redeemed the Champion Pack key on steam but when I try to upgrade to the Royal Edition I don't get a discout. Maybe the upgrade discount depends on your country or there's a difference between Kickstarter Champion keys and "normal" Champion keys? Take an obvious example, we were all supposed to get just standard edition of the game key initially no matter which tier you are at. What the real problem is that Obsidian does not take add-on into consideration of which special edition you get on Steam/GoG. PS: I'll post some pictures as proof that only when you put both champion edition and royal upgrade in shopping list then you can get $15 off from the upgrade.
