I really haven't been following up.... at all.

Either way is it written anywhere how the keys are going to be delivered?

Are they emailing it - or would it just appear in the backers portal like they did with wasteland 2?

They will send a Kickstarter update out telling you to go to your backer portal to get it

Thanks I thought as much - I figured they would have said something by now or at least it would have been available for preloading on steam.

I guess I will have to wait. Hope we get a chance to preload also.

"Good thing I don't heal my characters or they'd be really hurt." Is not something I should ever be thinking.

you're an investor

...

Also, I know everyone is a little disgruntled about Streamers and Youtubers having the game before you... ;)

As far as I know investors get financial profit from their investments. We'll not.

And communication with backers yeah... is kinda... bad. And to those who make fun that I and other people get sense of entitlement - yeah, yeah we have all rights to have that feel. We paid money, we apparently saved that company and what now? Some 12 years old youtuber is playing before those who saved company? Priorities are kinda weird in here. If they put a countdown saying backers get keys at this time, the rest at this time - that'd be cool and fun. Don't bring steam timer as example. That usually shows wrong time for me. Also I know how mail "service" work in my country and assume same thing goes for some eastern europe countries as well. Our physical copy may not even be delivered till summer or later. Highly doubt Obsidian will listen to my comment to order and use DHL or some other delivery company which will actually work. And another disturbing fact I've read about those weird additional 30$ to deliver to Europeans... in order to stop disturbance in the air obsidian really should release one clear faq. Untill that - chaos, people on edge and stuff!

Tbh I'm more worried about the "Shipping soon!" note near my signed CE when I look at my pledges than about not having my digital key yet. The later Obsidian can decide to release at any time of their choosing before the deadline that is release day, as for the former it still has to cross an ocean to get here and I'm fairly sure that takes more time.

So why are you guys bitching about digital keys that you know you'll have before release? Obsidian has stated many times already that we will be able to play the game the second it is released because we'll be able to preload it. If like me you backed the kickstarter, then wtf? I mean you waited this long, a few more hours ain't gonna kill you...

Someone noted somewhere yesterday (don't ask me to find it, as I can't recall which thread it was in - may actually have been this one though) that BAdler said that 'shipping soon' message is erroneous and that all units have actually shipped out.

A quick question about new "downloads" tab on portal... I don't see in my account... Only "orders" and "products" tab. Why isn't download section available to me?

I think they changed it little bit after that Blog was published. All downloads will be available from the Products tab for backers.

No. Dont be that guy: "omg game so good! omg game so oldschool; they are so awesome". No. We are customers, even more: we are backers. Without us they will never develop POE. Thats a fact. And yes - i want to be treated in special way. I want to get my game BEFORE normal customers. But life is life: they get our money, develop game, sell it, and forget about backers. Thats a sad story about kickstarter.

Whenever I read post like this, it make me laugh. I waited for another game like this, for almost 13 years. Few days more will not make me go berserk or anything, and of course if Obsidian will do another DRM free kickstarter with physical collector's edition, I'll throw my money at tham again and again and again!

Keep up the good work guys!

You paid money for game to be made, digital copy, backers beta and whatever other stuff in your price list. I didnt see price goal, where backers decide what marketing policy should Obsidian use. At this stage youtubers/streamers >> backers, thats why they get copy.

I have the backer beta installed, and I'm pretty sure that I used one of my two game steam keys to access it. Does PoE install over that beta or do I need to get a new key to download the game?

The game will be another download. Beta will not be updated to full game afaik.

Communication could have been better with the backers with regards to physical items, review streams etc. But they are still on target to deliver us an awesome game on the 26th. I'm sure they are very busy with day 1 patch as well as all the press etc they will have going on. As well as the launch party. So until 00:01 26/03 CHILL OUT.

But I'm a very important Kickstarter investor who literally saved Obsidian from destruction.

Ah so you were the chosen one the prophecy mentioned....
