Help: Blank Screen at mid-game trip to Telos

Recommended Posts

Hey all!

So I've finished Nar Shaddaa and Onderon, and I'm trying to head back to Telos. After the cutscene for landing at Citadel Station, I get the loading screen for Atris' secret ice-amazon academy, followed by a blank screen. The game's not frozen (although that would be appropriate, given the location, heh), there's music and I can access the menu, I just get a blank screen with nothing happening.

I've got TSLRCM, M4-78, & Handmaiden for Female Exiles (the version that's compatible with TSLRCM). Handmaiden's a full-blown Jedi, so I'm guessing there's some kind of cutscene that's not being triggered here.

I looked around and found an old post with a similar issue: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/64254-kotor-2-telos-black-screen/ but unlike that poster, I don't have the infamous 1.0c Xenon patch.

Any ideas?

Thanks DarthDevan! So here's the version I'm using: http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/226-handmaiden-4-females-disciple-4-males-for-tslrcm-183/ Should be compatible with TSLRCM, tho maybe there are still some kinks to work out. The thread I linked to with a similar problem didn't mention the Handmaiden mod in its list, so I'm guessing that's not the source of the issue.

Also, an update: it looks like this problem is triggered wherever I go, Citadel Station or not. I was able to run blind through the academy using the menu map and get to the Ebon Hawk, and from there was able to resume the game normally. So far I've gone to CItadel Station and am working through Dantooine without any problems. Hopefully this will be a pseudo-fix for anyone running into this in the future!

And a clarification-

the scene immediately after Handmaiden accepting Jedi training, in which Kreia says "betrayal" and Atris becomes aware of Handmaiden's becoming a Jedi, went perfectly fine, and I went through all of Onderon after it.

PS - so obvs I'm new here and I just saw that your :skeptical: is spider jerusalem. big ups, also really clever irony
