Health & Stamina, failed design?

I'm pretty sure my solution is solid. 

 

Give everyone 50% more health. When a character loses their stamina and goes down you are penalized by 25% of your total health.

 

The Barbarian is exempt from the penalty. Also, MAYBE the barbarian might only gain a 25% boost to health since the barbarian is exempt from the penalty.

"Good thing I don't heal my characters or they'd be really hurt." Is not something I should ever be thinking.

 

I use blue text when I'm being sarcastic.

Thats too complicated. Double the ratios and fix focus fire ai. Problem solved.

I guess that could work.
