Dragon Age: Inquistion

Recommended Posts

Huh, looks like we'll be visiting the Black City. Which would be cool and not entirely unsurprising, when I think about it, which I hadn't. :p

the black city will be:

when those wizards saw the fugly, tacky and boorish monstrosity that were the Creator's "heaven," they were disappointed and mildly appalled. in a fit o' pique, the Creator cursed the mocking intruders-- turned 'em into the first darkspawn.

what? you really think bioware will come up with something better?

HA! Good Fun!

The idea that mages actually corrupted heaven always appealed to me in the first game, I hope they do it right.

The City was already corrupted when the mages entered.

The Maker will probably be final boss.

Sandal's monologue in DA2 essentially confirms the Maker is bull****.

You're a cheery wee bugger, Nep. Have I ever said that?

You could even call it an homage to the fanbase!

Civilization, in fact, grows more and more maudlin and hysterical; especially under democracy it tends to degenerate into a mere combat of crazes; the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken

Or a tribute to ME's ending.

I'd say the answer to that question is kind of like the answer to "who's the sucker in this poker game?"*

This "quote" almost gave me an aneurysm.

What's the most aneurysms a quote has given you?

That is the dumbest ****ing thing I've read in quite some time. I might still like DA:I, if none of the characters talk. And what the hell does he have on his back, a bazooka?.

Can you play as a Qunari? Or just human, dwarf, elf? And if so can you be a Qunari mage?

Don't be silly, you're human. Get used to it.

Pft.

You're meant to do a user:Volourn forum post search then post the link to that with a pithy comment about helping people to find moranic posts on the Obsidz forums easily or summat.

(Don't really see any reason to dislike their quotes particularly, Bioware's "I want to be a Whedon" approach has been apparent for some time and those quotes are just more of the same in that regard)

You know if someone had told me during the days of Black Isle that BW would end up producing romance simulators I would had said: " That makes absolute and perfect sense"

Edit: Also she looks like a cross between a nug and elf;  possible illegitimate child to the Warden.

Are those quotes that Bioware picked out to introduce characters?  Because they are terrible.

But honestly the advertising for the Dragon Age has been terrible since they decided to focus on blood splatter as a selling point.

Her face kind of looks like that dwarf girl from Dragon Age Origins who went to study with the Mages and Templars.
