Stick of Truth crashes on Launch (Pressing play on Steam)

Gordon Freeman

Question

Hello everyone.
I got the Stick of Truth today, hoping to play it in all it's awesomeness, and i seem to have run into a problem.
The second I press the play button on steam, to you know, start up the Stick of Truth, the game literally crashes in 2 seconds, coming up saying "South Park - The Stick of Truth has stopped working"
I've searched up and no one else seems to be having this problem, or anything near it.

The above link has details about my computer.
I can provide MORE information about my computer if anyone needs it.
Anyone got any ideas?
(Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit)

You crash at the logos, trademarks and copyright videos?

Yes, I see your "Fault Module Name" is the program's executable and my "Fault Module Name" is "bink2w32.dll"

Does look like a different source of the crash. Wish you luck man. I'm going to hang in there, waiting for fixes; the game looks that good.

I actually crash when you hit play on steam itself, and not any launchers or anything.

I press play and its like nope.

I've gone through everything, and still no luck

I'm gonna go and bring the game back in and try get the money back.

I AM going to contact technical support before bring it back however.

If I find out how to fix it, i'll be sure to post it here for future people!
