Ivan the Terrible Posted May 1, 2004 Share Posted May 1, 2004 On my second time through, in order to see the different dialogue options opened up, I went through Korriban after the Leviathan. Did anyone else kinda roll their eyes when it came to the final test....or any of the big tests, for that matter? The Dark Jedi you meet elsewhere in the game would have no chance in hell of defeating two Terentateks single-handed. I find it ironic that the 'final test' you have to take before they'll even teach you is far more than any of the wussy Sith teachers at the academy could handle. Yeah, I know. Nitpicky....but these are the kinda things that bug me. I made this half-pony half-monkey monster to please you But I get the feeling that you don't like it What's with all the screaming? The Sith training program is not only a combat training program, but also hones lobbying, scheming, manipulation and backstabbing skills. As Hk-47 (is that Hk as in Hunter Killer ?) would have said, Extrapolation: Master, perhaps you could convince the meatbag to send another student for that test and you could end up with one that is only deadly ? It was possible to run them in circles a bit and get to the lever to open the door to the next room. I just assumed that all the other dark jedi did that. He could have heard of the plot against him (wasn't Yuthura planning agaisnt him always happen in the game?). He could have planned on letting the terentateks loose to hopefully kill you, then kill Yuthura and keep his place. I think Enoch's idea makes more sense, though. Good assumption, I'd probably have to go with that one myself. It seems very logical - and provides a good challenge - when you look at it that way.
