The answer was...

I removed the question mark, turning it from a question to a statement

I'm just too obscure ;(

Torment did 86.5k yesterday, its best day since day 4.  I dub this The Avellone Effect.

:brows:

You realise you now need to tweet this at said personage...? ;)

What, no "in knowing the teaching of Gorthimon I have become stronger"?

(OK, Gorthimon sounds like some sort of refugee from a weird Japanese collectable game, though no doubt said game could be infinitely improved by the inclusion of a giant floating skull, as all games can be improved by the inclusion of giant floating skulls)

Best kitten-gif in a long time.

Does anyone else feel that the pic of MCA on the goal looks like some ominous boss creature lurking in the shadows?

More like younger, smaller nosed Ryan Stiles, in that pic at least. Don't really get an "ominous" vibe. :)

Killing is kind of like playin' a basketball game. I am there. and the other player is there. and it's just the two of us. and I put the other player's body in my van. and I am the winner. - Nice Pete.

I endure Gorth's bad jokes.  And in enduring I grow strong.

Okay thats funny, you get the BruceVC humor award for the week

If I hadn't played Torment recently I really wouldn't have got any of these lines

Guys Osvir started a really good thread about shared questing and lore between PE and Numenera

I think it has huge potential. I know there are people on this section of the forums who have great insight into fantasy RPG so why don't you post some suggestions in his thread? I am keen to see the idea's

Castoff's Labyrinth is looking like a forgotten slice of birthday cake left in the fridge too long. I guess they're imitating the Endless Paths in PE. :)

I think it's a bad idea to make any  connections. Joking references fine, but nothing else.

Update 10 - Mur Lafferty talks companios, physical addons, etc.

While I'm likely going to play a compassionate, pacifist character that avoids conflict at all cost and tries to fix everybody else's lives, to a fault, for my first playthrough, In a later playthrough I'll likely make a complete scumbag who just ruins everyone he meets and tosses them aside once they're no longer useful.

:fdevil:

It will be interesting to see how different the "Toy" will be in each of these playthroughs.

Companions are "broken people"?  I hope that this isn't universal as I'd like to encounter at least a couple of potential companions with their heads screwed on straight.

I think it will be around the level of the original PS:T, or KotOR 2. With some, you could easily tell, while you had to work a little more to see it in others.
