Indeed. I'm guessing this is some kind of WC reboot. Those fighters look like Kilrathi ones. The guys at WCNews must be going ga-ga over this.

Kickstarter that, man. In the grim darkness, you must dogfight hovering cats in space. The name Kilrathi is pretty funny in it's origin - Roberts saw them killing with wrath..so..kill..wrath..ta-da, Kilrathi. Always interesting how these things come to be, like Blair's name.

Well, first they'd need to pull it from Interplay - but that shouldn't be too hard.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-10-10-wing-commander-creator-returns-to-melt-your-pc-with-new-space-sim-star-citizen

"Star Citizen features a dynamic economy and an open world. Roberts describes it as a mash up of Freelancer and Privateer, two of his previous games, and a Wing Commander game. The single-player mode can be played offline or co-op with friends in a similar fashion to the way players impact each other's games in Demon's Souls, he said."

Point where I should throw the money at.

Can't fault him for his ambition with some of these features. Well, am pretty excited for this.

Nice attention to detail in the fighter with the hands on the stick, feet on the pedals. I guess this will need a PC upgrade. He's taking some digs at consoles throughout this, I find

Looks amazing. I'll be buying! I haven't been excited about a game like I am this one since BG2

I came up with Crate 3.0 technology.

Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.

Down and out on the Solomani Rim
Now the Spinward Marches don't look so GRIM!

Yep, this feeling of positivity and optimism is disconcerting to me.
