Frustrating Runtime Error

tritonman

Question

So i purchased DS3 from Steam. Downloaded game etc..every time i try to open it i get a Runtime Error. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still get the error. I haven't been able to play the game since i bought it.

I have done the check file structure or whatever it says and it acquires some file and i still get the same error.

I am in the US so the language changes obviously dont apply to me.

Im on win7 64bit.

Video Drivers are up to date

Sound drivers are up to date

Windows patches up to date.

I sent him a PM directly about this and this is what he replied:

I would get a Runtime error as soon as i clicked Play Game on Steam no matter what i did. Mine ended up being laptop specific. I have an Alienware laptop and once i uninstalled Alienware Command Center and reinstalled it the game loaded without an issues and played like a champ.
