They are only trailers with no actual gameplay/screenshots.

In the end it doesn't matter at all how bad or good looking your teaser trailer is if the game just sucks some swedish *** (no offence swedes).

True, but a badly done teaser isn't exactly something that is going to generate a lot of hype.

In the end no one will remember one teaser trailer if overall the marketing campaing is well done.

One of the refinements we are making to this system for Dungeon Siege III is that we are having each of these decisions have a short term, mid-term and long term affect on the game. So, you'll see the effects of your decisions constantly as you play through to the end.

Sounds good, as long as gameplay doesn't suffer from all these story 'gimmicks'. Story isn't what the bulk of players play Dungeon Siege for.

Anyway, it sounds as if gameplay mimics Sacred 2, which can't be bad in my book.

The ending of the words is ALMSIVI.

In PnP, the gameplay that repeats killing enemies/looting items is regarded as most primitive sessions and the youngest group enjoy it. However, Blizzard, somehow, made it popular even among adults in CRPG. I can only tell that they appear to be good at making their games addictive, if you ask me. And look at their sales! Many companies tried to copy their formula and some managed to be successful but only at lesser levels. So, probably it is wise of Obsidian to try not to even pretend they are Blizzard and give their best shot with what they are good at especially at a time like this when they are going to release a new version.
