Crash at Ruins 1 min after briefing

[Nukleon]

Alpha Protocol crashes silently, only a windows error message without details, about a minute after Mina concludes her briefing, telling me to defend the uplink.

 

I'm using Windows 7 64-bit, Nvidia 9800 GTX and Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty, both updated, also have Windows updated.

 

EDIT: It is usually right after she says "The signal is in Rome"

Nevermind, someone recommended installing a crack and it worked, goes to show what is wrong with cheap DRM schemes, eh?
