Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded.

What the hell? Doesn't seem too bad a fighting game, and I was never much of a fan of the genre.

Guilty Gears are great 2d fighting games, easy to play, annoyingly hard to master.

It's quite awesome. It just sucks that it doesn't have multiplayer on the PC.

Well a couple of my friends started up Age of Conan, so I decided to try it out so we could play together and stuff.

So far it's ok, nothing great or revolutionary, Funcom has quite a bit of work on their hands though.

Using a gamepad to control an FPS is like trying to fight evil through maple syrup.

Playing Metal Gear Solid 4 on Big Boss Hard. Also some Metal Gear Online.

My graphics card should come in "any day now." Then I'll finally get to Kane's Wrath.

Devil May Cry 4's demo for PC.

Absolutely forking awesome. And gorgeous too.

I did this thing where I kicked the snot out of a baddie with my sword until he was thrown back and, right at the same time, I used one of my powers to pull him back instantly, grab him with one hand and smash the little twerp on the ground. Better than sex.

Imagine if JE's combat was like this.

I'm having fun. With a fighting game. O 'ell!

BTW, how does this game compare with others of the genre? I'm thinking Street Fighter, Samurai Showdown, and Fatal Fury games. Since I'm not too keen on the genre - though Guilty Gear is trying to change that, the rat bastard - is it better for me to do some venturing into its roots or am I playing the best of the genre?

Also, Street Fighter IV looks like it will rock.

Um, I was also trying to play Hexplore, but I can't make it work on my PC.

Actually, if you re-read that sentence, you can very much turn the scene into a sexual one. And it will be better than DMC4 ;)

So the demo's good, hun? Might give it a try later. Are you using the keyboard or a gamepad?

Right now, I'd say you're playing the best there is. It's similar in style to Samurai Shodown, another quite awesome game. IV in particular gave me loads of enjoyment.

As for Street Fighter, I've always been a huge fan but I can understand how it might seem a little archaic compared to Guilty Gear.

I've never liked Fatal Fury all that much.

Oh, if you get it to run, could you share how you did it? Almost forgot about that one, never finished it so far ;)

Playing ME PC.

About 20ish hours in, level 25 or so, as a mostly-Paragon female Infiltrator (I somehow picked both Renegade-leaning backgrounds for my character, though, because the other ones just seemed boring). Finished Therum and Noveria, and am currently plowing through a very boring Moonbase.

It has its flaws, but I'm having fun. Also, although I'm not much of a shooter player, I'm finding the combat reasonably easy (on normal difficulty). Unless I get careless and a rocket (or somesuch) one-shots me, the fights haven't been particularly tough. The Rachni on Noveria were a challenge in that all my tech skills and excellent shield power are pretty much useless against them, but they just didn't hit hard enough or last long enough to be a serious threat.

Hitman Bloodmoney

I've been thinking about getting that for some time.

Is it any good? Gameplay/storywise

Yeah the gameplay is better than the other hitmans you can customize your weapons and you can dispose the bodies of people you kill. You can also go to casinos,a rehab clinic, a theater, a wedding party, and a cruise ship. But i recommened you dont play on easy because you'll end up beating the game in about 3 or 4 hours.

Gameplaywise, its the best Hitman game (In my opinion) in its series.

Storywise, it feels disconnected and disjointed and in the end, very lacking. If you want a good story, Hitman 2 has the best story in the series because it has a far more personal goal as well as exploring the depths of 47's mind and his sought for redemption. Unfortunately, Hitman Blood money is mostly told from a third person with 47's character suddenly taking a confusing drastic change from Hitman 2 leaves alot of fans a lack of satisfaction.

Aside from the faults of storywise, the gameplay is an experience that I would highly recommend you to indulge in. It has:

Great maps.

Variety of weapons.

Many many many ways to kill your targets provides the needed linearity.

Awesome soundtrack.

Like chris, I recommend you to play it on normal difficulty at least. Otherwise you will be tempted to simply run and gun your way in and out which pretty much defeats the purpose and goal of the game.

Well, I would say that the gameplay is better than any other game in the series - although I will admit that I liked the plot of the second game more. Still, the plot was not overly rotten, and the other elements more than make up for that shortcoming. ;)

No way man, Blood Money had one of the best endings ever
