Well you don't have to miss out on Lucasarts adventure games any more, a bunch of them are released/are being released over Steam.

Damn good news... but I'm probably just going to rent it.

"Alright, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade - make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don't want your damn lemons, what am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life's manager. Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons. Do you know who I am? I'm the man who's gonna burn your house down! With the lemons. I'm going to to get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!"

If this doesn't come out for the PC I will kill Tim Schafer with my mind.

I can count on one hand the number of games for which I've paid full price. The last one was Mass Effect. The next one will be Brutal Legend.

I generally buy games used, so my gaming dollar goes to glorified pawn shops and random Amazon sellers. The developer never sees one cent (I've got a mortgage, dammit. Don't judge me!). However, I want Double Fine to take my money for this game. This type of creative risk should be encouraged.

Completely agree. I made the mistake of missing out on Psychonauts, until it was free on Gametap and I don't want to make the same mistake with this game.

Yup, console only. Who cares.

Obviously not you.

Doesn't change the fact it's pure awesomeness.

I came up with Crate 3.0 technology.

Crate 4.0 - we shall just have to wait and see.

Awesomesauce it's the only word to describe Brutal Legend

Another would be "not available on the PC".

Why invest the money to release it on PC? As a business decision there is absolutely no point in developing this for PC, unless there is firm evidence that it'll be worth while, it probably isn't worth anyones effort.

Because PC gamers have money which they want to spend on Brutal Legend?

It was planned for the PC for quite a while, but finally they dropped it when EA decided to publish it.

I'm pretty sure that they will release a PC version ~6 months later.

I might just as well ask why there are any PC games at all, Nightshape?

The question is do EA feel that there are ENOUGH PC gamers with money that they're willing to spend.

I hope they do. It sucks that PC gamers aren't getting a version.

PC only titles really are low budget affairs, or titles pretty certain to shift a shedload of units, ala Diablo 3. Obviously you have MMO's aswell but in the grand scheme of things, there aren't alot of PC games being released week in week out that aren't just ports from 360.
