I focus more on building cannon towers at first.. and then Arrows behind them to shot while the bigger towers and reloading.. but when I reach the higher levels they can't destroy the critters in time.. even though I have some nice upgraded Fire towers (those things kick ass) - it seems I run out of money too fast.. The "combination tower" does hellacious damage and once upgraded is fairly fast. Some strategicly placed upgraded fire towers were nicely devastating. With the splash damage and such. I probably could have done better earlier if I had realized you could upgrade the towers before level 10 The area between the balls and the butt is a hotbed of terrorist activity. I only figured out you could upgrade your stuff by accidentally clicking a cannon while trying to shoehorn another platform into an area.
