"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."

Woah, dystopias have come and gone, but this really looks awesome. Although the director worries me a bit. Not exactly the brightest CV.

Edit: Also, one of the most spoilerific trailers ever.

It has made me the man I am today. A man who craves furry hentai.

So let us go and embrace the rustling smells of unseen worlds

Looks good, but for once, can a post-apoc movie have the remnants of the goverment, any goverment, as the good guys?

Absolutely not.

How about a movie where the corporation isn't a evil entity?

But they're all...corporationy.

They should make a Wildcats 3.0 movie. Halo Corporation. Releases advanced computers for about 20 bucks each, and batteries that don't die, etc. Basically trying to make the world a better place through consumerism.

Anyway, heard about this movie a while ago. Looks cool. Clive Owen rocks.

Interesting premise. At least it's finally a movie trailer that doesn't make me go 'bleh' and click away... :D

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

Surprisingly, his big break was in BMW commercials. The Hire, a bunch of short films done as advertisements for BMW by big name directors. Through that he got to work with people like Ang Lee, Guy Ritchie, John Woo, and Tony Scott, as well as some bigger name stars like Don Cheadle, Gary Oldman, Mickey Rourke, and Stellan Skarsgaard. After he did those his career took off.
