Candidate B.

noon, used opium in college and drinks a quart of

whiskey every evening.

Candidate C

And Finally, can you imagine working for a company

that has a little more than 500 employees and has

the following statistics:

* 29 have been accused of spousal abuse

* 7 have been arrested for fraud

* 19 have been accused of writing bad checks

* 117 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at

least 2 businesses

* 3 have done time for assault

* 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit

* 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges

* 8 have been arrested for shoplifting

* 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits

* 84 have been arrested for drunk driving in the

last year...

Can you guess which organization this is?

Give up yet?

He became deaf later in life, yes.

Interesting questions, Krookie. :( One of the common complaints made against tabloid newspapers, and the way they pry into politicians' lives, is that if they'd been around 70 years ago Churchill would never have become Prime Minister, with unhappy results all round.

I remember there being a painting in my Grade 1 music class. We all commented that he didn't look very happy, and the music teacher said that he didn't really have a happy life, and suffered through deafness and whatnot.

We all loved his 5th Symphony though :(

I do know that Abe Lincoln had a high pitched voice, and thus could never have hoped to win in a modern televised election. For that matter, so did Patton, so there you are!

I'd have voted for Churchill. I don't trust folks who don't drink (regularly)*. And hell, his daily schedule reminds of mine. Us lazy bums gotta stick together, know what I mean'?

*And Vegetarians and Germans and Non-Smokers. Plus, cheating on your wife should be okay and she should understand if she's all eek and fat and gooey. I mean, it's not my fault she makes me barf uncontrollably, it's not my fault Mr. Pecker Jim prolapses like the SS Columbia on seeing her mug each morning. Women should be more understanding, that's what my Pa always said.

It's a shame that the name Adolphus has suffered so, all because of one bad egg ...

I remember reading somewhere that some Americans had to change their name because of Adolf Hitler.

And, by the way, on your answer to the abortion

question: If you said YES, you just killed

Beethoven.

Hindsight is always 20/20, isn't it? Since nobody could have known a-priori that a Beethoven would be born, advising otherwise would be foolish. Making such decisions without knowledge of the outcome requires that you choose based on the most probable outcome. Beethoven was not the most probable outcome.

Remember: Amateurs...built the ark.

Professionals...built the Titanic

Based on the historical record (not the bible) of who Noah was, and where he lived, it is likely it was built by a community that relied heavily on shipping, so no, it probably wasn't built by amatuers.

1. No

2. B

The facts from C were known to me. Even so I've always thought of character assassination with regards to private life a tenuous argument against a political candidate.

Professionals...built the Titanic

LOL... what?

The last bit is interesting if it is true.

Philosophy time...

If you had an infinite number of monkeys working on an infinite number of typewriters, would you get the works of Shakespeare instantaneously?

I think that that is the point.

Hitler's reletives still live in the US...It'd be terrible to live under that name.

Anyway:

I forgot to add what I answered:

Q1: Yes, have the abortion.

Q2: C.

I answered No to number one - I respect life and I don't think the children are any less worth just because they are handicapped one way or another..

I thought the last one was a dead give away .. I couldn't guess Franklin D. Roosevelt. But C had Hitler written all over it.. And B couldn't be anyone else but Churchill! ^_^

So I took B of course ..

Fortune favors the bald.
