I was pretty bummed last night when A-Rod fractured his arm in the 12th game of the season. It required some dramatic restructuring of the lineup, that's for sure, but I've got a few utility infielders that can handle it. mkreku Posted August 17, 2006 Share Posted August 17, 2006 I visited my girlfriend's parents house a few weeks ago and I ended up playing Singstar 80's that my girlfriend's little sisters had bought. Surprisingly enough it was great fun. Me and my girlfriend started off pretty good, singing along with the tunes and scoring some points, but it quickly degraded into mayhem. At the end of the game we were both howling like wolves, trying to outscore each other just by hitting the right notes as quickly as possible as opposed to actually singing the lyrics. Great fun! There is no instruction, one is just left to one's wits and knowledge of Lara's abilities, and peception to find the next clue to the next advance in the plot ... and it is just a huge bunch of puzzles, strung out in a long series with the occassional pixelated fight and FMV for reward. It is clear to see how they screwed up in the sequels (though that is hindsight, admittedly), I shall enjoy seeing if the developers have returned to this template in the latest one (when it turns up in a day or so).
