aerowars617 Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 Im not sure if this happens to anyone else, but I am on Dantooine (1st Planet this time) and I am trying to get influence with atton by talking to the Old Mechanic next to the Ebon Hawk. I have read that if you have enough awareness, you can ask him why he is busy, tell him to not bottle up his frustration, then be able to gain influence. This is supposed to work for two characters, Kriea and Atton. It definately works for Kriea, but nothing happens with Atton (trying different party combos and just Exile and Atton, and trying it after visiting another planet). This is on the PC version of the game, and I was wondering if anyone else has had this, or if they know of a bug fix for it. kalimeeri Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 In places where multiple party members can get inf, I've had to kick everyone else out of the party except the desired NPC, sometimes even use that person as the spokesperson (Exile will kick in with the appropriate questions). I dont see why some guides should lie, as I have seen it mentioned in multiple sources from respected forums and people... maybe they all made they made the same mistake. There are so many bugs in this game, and there are probably different bugs in the PC version then in the xbox version. I have a guide and its the KOTOR 2 Prima Official Game Guide and it is very acurate and shows you where all of the containors and stuff are. He starts the "Redemption" quest and that is one of those uncompletable quests, cut content things, but using the KSE you can see all the possible outcomes, but all the stuff it says cant be linked up with your action on dantooine or khoonda. Dantooine is one of those good places where you get good infulence from one character and bad from the other, I had Kreia and Handmaiden. I left the crystal caves and I was confronted with Azkul and them mercs, I chose the lying option to help him and Kreia was impressed with me, but Handmaiden disagreed.
