Seeking sex from women with late water bills

Arkansas mayor free on bond after arrest on charges related to 2 women

WALDRON, Ark. - The 72-year-old mayor was arrested this week on charges he sought sex from two women in exchange for preventing their water from being turned off.

One of the women told investigators she had been having sex with Troy Anderson for money for eight to 10 years, according to an affidavit.

She said Anderson paid her $25 per encounter and $60 for a late water deposit. He also allowed her to change the name on her overdue water bill to keep the service running, the affidavit said.

Ya know, she didn't have to sleep with him for 10 years. Could have, I dunno, said something, brought a tape recorder, taped it somehow, or...maybe gotten a job that would have helped pay for the water...

Less of an abuse of human rights and more of an abuse of stupid people. :p

This type of thing is commonplace in Arkansas, many goods and services are freely exchanged for sex.

I remember this elected official, I can't remember his name, who did this according to their customs and got into alot of trouble because all these people wanted his to adhere to their out of date morality.

Eh. They're just as 'bad' as he is. Seesm to me, he paid them to have sex. That's called prostitution last i checked. Which should be legal, imo, but sadly it isn't so throw THEM ALL in prison.

Just because you find something distastful doesn't mean it should be illegal.

So..why is prostitution illegal?

It IS the oldest profession after all...so is the reason just to help slow down the spread of disease, or what?

'Cause if it's just some kind of moral thing, then the hell with that law.

I hate it so much when people say that... It sounds SO stupid! There were farmers, hunters and crafters way before whores... These only appeared after people started settling down, living in towns, and building their society...

The worst thing is when I hear women saying that proudly... HA! they are proud to be at the origin of the first profession in humanity (so they think)... Meh, feminists...

Well, selling your ass is probably the oldest way to get stuff from others. It doesn't need to be a real job or a position to be called the oldest profession.

Well, this is YOUR interpretation of things. This is why I will have to disagree with you...
