If you are worried that you don't know what you are doing, then stop and hire someone to do it for you.

 

Keep your files properly backed up. This means making a Restore Point and saving files since the last archive on a new medium (e.g. new CD). This will be handy for when you do the "un-install-re-install" Windows dance macabre.

 

For added security, make more than one copy, and/or send alternate archives to different places (work, home, friends

Hello Skeeter Denizens! I am thinking that perhaps we might retire this Pinned thread. I also want to check - however - if anyone has an interest/itme to review and update the thread for the community?
