Eddo36
In Episode IV at the Battle of Yavin, how the hell did the Millenium Falcon get close enough to the Death Star to destroy Vader's wingmen without getting chewed up by all the Death Star's surface turrets? astr0creep
Well, he is smarter than most rebel pilots apparently... he didn't go into the trench. Oh and yeah, Han is hellacool. It doesn't matter how he got there. The important thing is that he allowed his friend to succeed, redeeming himself in the process. http://entertainmentandbeyond.blogspot.com/

Atreides
I think they got picked up on Episode IV. That's the part where Obi-Wan went about shutting down the generators so they could hike it while the rest rescued Leia. Of course they then led the Empire straight to Yavin IV but that's basically it. Spreading beauty with my katana.

ap76
The turret fire had ceased in and around the trench when Vader and his wingmen entered the scene. There was a line in the movie about this I think.
