Don't buy the game if you don't like it.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the galaxy. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips. I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my viens. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk, and free throw. I am there.

I still don't get why people are whining about this.

It gives people to talk about. More cheese with that whine?

Yas know, at first I just laughed when I read this thread and it didnt bother me.

But in hindsite its a negative becau se due to the interface and lack of interaction NPCs have with PCs in SWG, there is no way they can make the HK character as engaging and witty as he is in KotOR1 or 2.

They have done a real disservice to the character by adding him into SWG.

But SWG is so devoid of original content to begin with really. It shouldnt surprise anyone he was added.

they stole KOTORS HK-47 and put him in galaxies to make galaxies even more unpopular?

This is what I think

Dam you Lucas Arts! You're the ones screwing up SW lore!

Another thing. From now on how about we refer to HK-47 in SWG as HK-48.

I see no reason why two crappy elements in Star Wars can't be combined. His existance doesn't seem any less plausable then Exar Kun's in Jedi Academy novels. As long as they are letting Stackpole and Anderson write novels, and George Lucas's neck keeps making movies then the Star Wars mythos can continue to be utter crap.

As for the shamelessness of the Devs, I've seen worse.

People laugh when I say that I think a jellyfish is one of the most beautiful things in the world. What they don't understand is, I mean a jellyfish with long, blond hair.

HK-48? (since there are HK-50's anyway  )

They skipped a couple of models. Might have been defective.

Honestly I have never played Galaxies, I have no interest in doing so, but I think taking our beloved HK-47 and putting him in SWG cheapens the character and just shows how SWG is lacking in content. I do have to ask though, having seen the trailer, who are the weird demon looking guys in SWG?

Honestly I think Lucas and some of his cohorts do a good enough job of damaging the SW universe and its lore. The Vong for example was increadibly stupid, especially since any group that could make weapons out of living organisms and cross the space between galaxies is many times more advanced than anyone in the SW galaxy. Also Lucas and the other writers like to use Deus ex machinas too much. Just a thought, but as a recurring literary device that is a pretty bad one and usually shows a lack of originality, it was used by writers in ancient times who wrote themselves into a hole and just needed an excuse for the situation to be resolved.

Anyway, back on topic, HK-47 should have remained just in KOTOR.
