Technicallly, iron isn't a smell. :p" :D :p

Okay, but more seriously, I love the smell of vanilla. I have vanilla airfresheners, vanilla candles, and I drink vanilla coke. In fact, just about the only thing I don't like in vanilla would be Paradox Interactive games. :D

Oranges.

Certain kinds of dirt after a brief and light rain.

Meat charring (not fish).

Tar, burned metal(like after you weld or cut metal pipes), the sea, what it used to smell like if I stood on the balcony of the house I grew up in.

Sadly, my sense of smell has degraded significantly since I was in my late teens. I have no idea why but its not good, it feels like watching TV with the volume turned way down so you can only barely make out what you think theyre saying.

DISCLAIMER: Do not take what I write seriously unless it is clearly and in no uncertain terms, declared by me to be meant in a serious and non-humoristic manner. If there is no clear indication, asume the post is written in jest. This notification is meant very seriously and its purpouse is to avoid misunderstandings and the consequences thereof. Furthermore; I can not be held accountable for anything I write on these forums since the idea of taking serious responsability for my unserious actions, is an oxymoron in itself.

Pine woods. After rain. Nosegasmic.

I also love the slight change in the scent of outdoors air when summer is nearing it's end. Yeah, it's the smell of decay, but it's oh so lovely. I grew up smelling it.

Sea air.

I grew up near the sea, but haven't lived there for a long time. Whenever I'm travelling to the sea, the moment when I get the first scent of the salt sea air has a more powerful emotional effect than any other smell.

I was joking and being deliberately absurd. I had hoped that using three smilies might have made that obvious.

Sorry. Am a bit dim, sometimes. :(

The smell of napalm in the morning... Scratch that. The smell of napalm dumped on unsuspecting vietnamese villages filled with sick children and elderly in the morning.

Also, coffee, Lacoste and Kenzo perfumes, and a good aged Brie.

Ah, that reminds me. I like the smell of Brio, that old jigsaw like wooden train set I used to have. It smelled a lot like wood.
