I know, another poll, but I couldn't resist this one. :"> I searched the forums for one like this, and couldn't find one. The question is simple: who was your favorite romanceable character from KOTOR 1 and 2? This is NOT a "hottest character" poll. I'm only including characters whom you could actually romance with. So, apologies to all you Mira fans out there. And YES , I'm well aware that these are all computer animated characters, but this poll is just for fun. So back off.

As for my vote, I would have to go with Bastila Shan :shifty: from KOTOR 1 for a number of reasons. First and foremost, I found her character the most appealing. While she was arrogant, critical, and secretive at first, she gradually melted away as you talked with her and became a kind, compassionate, yet strong-willed woman. Not to mention she was very "gifted" feature-wise.

I also thought the dialogue to flirt with her was pretty funny, even if a little cliche. My favorites included "your face is all scrunched like a kinrath pup" and "you could help: blink once for light, twice for dark" or something like that. :D One of the best parts was seeing her get all mad and embarrassed with you every time you flirted.

Probably one of my favorite moments from the game was being able to redeem her from the darkside through your actions. I felt that added a lot to the romance, because after that it became much more than a mere sexual romance with her. That scene on the Star Forge was one of my favorites. And, not to mention, Bastila's romance was actually complete. I found it far more intimate and satisfying than any of the ones in K2. Not to mention that she's the only kissable character in the game. don't get me wrong, Visas is a great character, but Bastila's was way better, IMO.

And there's my vote. Feel free to respond.

I liked the LSF Rev/Carth romance (I've never really finished Kotor 1 as a LSM, so I don't know about Bastila). My first choice would naturally be Atton, but seeing as how that romance is lacking in... well, existance... :geek:"

I had to go for Bastila ;) because she's the only one I felt comfortable romancing.I mean, with Visas you're manipulating an abuse victim(slightly too dark side for my taste),and with Handmaiden you're grooming a teenager.

I won't even go into the men..Errr :geek:

Bastila's was the most complete. Although Visas had a very promising start. But then, there was... nothing :geek: Four planets long I could ask the same four questions.

But even Bastila's romance pales in comparison to the ones in Baldur's Gate II.

You mean in terms of cheesy lameness, right?Man,Aerie made Visas look strong.I only used her because she was a mage-cleric.

OK, Aerie's was the worst of the standard BG II romances. But Viconia was hot!

And both Viconia and Jaheira each had far more dialog then Atton, Visas and Handmaiden together.

Oh good gods, I actually voted for Carth. :">

Well, it WOULD have been Atton, had the romance aspect been developed properly, but as it wasn't...

I loved the constant flirting with Carth. It was awesome and made me laugh many times. The "romance" with Atton made me laugh too and I loved it... until the cut scene with Bao-Dur, at which point the romance just died, which was WAY too early in the game. Bleh...

as for the men disciple is just to old.
I'm sorry... too old? Disciple is actually quite young... like early 20s. He's the youngest male NPC you get in both games.

Yeah, isn't the Disciple supposed to be younger than the Exile? I mean, he was expecting the Exile to be his master before the Mandalorian Wars screwed up everyone's plans wasn't he? Next thing you know they'll be calling me old. :)

I agree about Visas. I thought she was the best choice romance-wise just because of her potential and she had a lot in common with the exile. But she hardly had any dialogue or history. :( And I thought the "foce sex" scene with her was kind of weak. It was just a waist of potential.

I did happen to find out that you can get that scene even if you're female, too. :)

I thought Atton was younger...?

Well, I voted for Carth. Naturally 'cause I'm a girl. The Bastila-Kissy-Scene lines were just so ... well, funny. "Kiss me, you <forget the word, it was like blabbering> fool." Haha, I mean how can you not find that funny? Besides, there were more Carth conversations, despite his whining, were more amusing to me. :)

I would've voted for Atton, but the romance was taken by little elves, so I had to vote for something that existed...

Carth's whining had me wishing throughout the entire game that I could have murdered him brutally in the streets at any given moment.

Anyway, I think the Disciple is younger than Atton, but that's just the impression that I got. :p

Hm, you could be right. Teen guys [or the ones I know] are pretty annoying. :p

My vote is for Bastila too, i felt her romance had been thought out, but if i could i would choose any romance from KOTOR1 rather than 2 as a lot of other people as well as me think also that the K2 romances were a bit empty..
