Is Anyone A Bastila/Carth/Revan Trio Fan?

Recommended Posts

Hello

I am a Bastila/Carth/Revan trio fan mainly.actually for one thing I am a fan of the male Revan story which is more preferable to me.Any way it was the three characters of Revan/Carth/Bastila that actually really inspired me to love Kotor.Any thing to do with them three trio mainly I love. The three of those characters are the main characters that got the best plot altogether on the Leviathian.I was just wondering if there are any other Carth/Bastila/Revan fans out there and that I ain't the only trio fan out there.I loved how on the Leviathian how Bastila hid the truth from Carth about Revans real Identitiy and he finally finds out on the Leviathians bridge and he demands a explanation by Bastila.then the next bit before that is exellent indeed how the three of them together get tortured together! (oh how sweet!)by Sual Karath, gees its so funny and touching. Then finally when the three of them finally meet Malak on the Leviathian is when things start to get really interesting and this is my fvourite bit of any thnig in gaming history! the revelation of Revans true Identity and guess whos there to learn it all? yep thats right Bastila/Revan/Carth.They were very well written.

I also was just wondering if there are any other trio fans of Bastila/Carth/Revan out there who would like to share their favourite moments with the coolest video game trio in the galaxy.either it can be with female/male Revan,it can be about fan fiction, fan art or any thing about the trio.

So how did Revan/Carth/Bastila inspire you?

I wouldn't say they inspired me but I am a fan of Revan/Bastila (Episode II was still fresh in me when I played!). But I do agree that the trio are the central focus of the story and all the Star Wars themes on redemption, the general Good/Evil thing, and ofcourse the Ep2 Jedi-no-love rule and their stories are much more inter-twined than the other members, who were more like the "tools/specialists" of RPG games and the choose your party thing.

And I thought this topic was about sinful threesomes... (Get thee behind my back, yer imp of perversion!)

I don't have much liking for Carth or Bastila and my party members in KoTOR were always Bindo and Canderous. So when the intrepid trio were taken onboard the Leviathan, stripped to their undies (LF Revan + Bastila = :( ) and zapped (BDSM anyone!), it meant nothing to me. Though I do enjoy frying Carth; pity the storyline did not permit him to expire at that point.

Oh, and the revelation was nothing special either.

I don't like that they made Bastilla such a shrew in KotOR 1. Such a boringly outdated stereotype to build a character around.

Revan's fine. I like the backstory for Revan the moreso after having played KotOR 2, which expanded on it.

Carth I could give or take. He was tolerable.

Not really. Didn't like Carth that much, although he was tolerable. Bastila spent as lttle time in my party as possible, so most travelling around was with Jolee and either Mission or Canderous, depending on what I needed (skills or muscle).

A shame that neither Jolee nor Mission survived :)

I thought it was alright. It was a well built thing which was a bit like an interactive Episode II.

Only Bastila.

This I doubt. We are hearing a child's tale.

This game rocked... However, I wouldn't call her Skywalker... Mara Skywalker is alleady Lukes wife!

Bastilla is a pretty cool character!

Carth hes okay, he has to grow on you!

Reven by far none, this character PC was the coolest in the KOTOR franchise!

Bastilla was always in my party, except for certain situations where she couldnt join, like Korriban.

Third slot varied. Usually Canderous, HK-47 or Carth. Used Jolee on Kashyyk a little and for the quest on Manaan. Juhani for the solo part on Leviathan. Mission only to get into Vulkar Base. Zaalbar until rescuing Bastilla and early part of Kashyyk. T3 for the Sith base and tough computers.

I think they were well-built characters in comparison to the sequel and I really enjoyed Carth and Jolee Bindo; they were awesome characters. One thing though is that they all had their own little personality and that's what really made replaying it a fun thing cause there was always something new.

In TSL, by the end of your second planet you could already unlock everything you could ever want to say and everything seems stagnant. While it goes along with the general theme, it really just was too annoying to even unlock them since they're roll really didn't help in a game that was far too easy.

I liked all three of them. They're the best characters I've seen in RPGs since Planescape: Torment. :) Bastila had a good personality with a lot of background and the voice matched perfectly. [never thought of an English Jedi tho] Plus I'm a huge fan of Jennifer Hale.

Carth was great too tho. A little too goody two-shoes than my taste but still a very strong char. Um... yeah totally HATED him... :-" :):(

Revan was the best! The plot twist threw me off so much I sat staring at the TV with my jaw dropped for so long my dad thought I was in shock. :ermm: I was a clueless dolt. The game would have sucked without these three.

I am very big fan of the Revan/Bastila/Carth trio. It probably helped that I played Revan as a LS Male. Carth and Bastila always responded well to my choices. Unless when it made sense to take another companion on a quest, I always choose Carth and Bastila. Carth has bangs like I do in really life and I would have chosen his head model if it was offered. I love when strangers would bully my party and Carth would go,
