Angry Sherpa
I'm just wondering if someone could explain how exactly that happened.
Nartwak
They played ten cards, which is a win I guess.
madwolfx
this is just like balck jack!(if you have five cards at ahnd and you didn't past 21, you'll win!) pazaak is using this rules
Hive
Ah.. good to know. I won a few times because of this, and thought it was a bug... :D
Shalynn Lors
Ah.. good to know. I won a few times because of this, and thought it was a bug... :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is - maybe. In KotOR 1 this situation was a loose, not a win. All card slots full = you loose. Either they changed the pazaak rules for KotOR 2, or it is a bug. I lost several pazaak games which I would have won in KotOR 1 - so I guess it's possible they changed the rules...

I too had lost on that account in the first game, and thus therefore assumed that the rules would be the same in the sequel... though I'll have to admit that not once did I look at the rules in KotOR II... Angry Sherpa
Why can't they just make it based upon your total?
Nitron
That's too logical. (w00t)

witchzenka
It's not a bug, it's the rules. Pazaak was refined a bit in 2. The rule is, you fill up your spots without going over, you win. A bug is where you beat the Champ twice, lose the third time, and he still thinks you won and gives you his special card. -Zenka The Evil Cow http://kotorsocial.suddenlaunch3.com/index.cgi
Planeforger
This is why those two number flip cards are good (the ones that say 2/4 or whatever). Use them to bring you down to a very low total, and then fill up the slots for an automatic win.
vadrillan
On a similar topic, did anyone get "the breaker" to work at breaking tied games, cause for me the pop-up saying tied game cropped up, so making it impossible to lay the card!
dufflover
Looks like I'll have to change what happens in my program as well. In that, if you fill up your slots you automatically stand. witchzenka
Dufflover - I adore your game. Solitaire doesn't work on my computer, so I play Pazaak. Waaaay too much. -Zenka The Evil Cow http://kotorsocial.suddenlaunch3.com/index.cgi

Normally, this would be a tie, but withe the tie breaker, it's a win for you.

Oh man, now I'm gonna have to think how I make it happen in my game - ok...never mind, just got it.
