Force Sight

Recommended Posts

Hey there, I have an ATI Radeon 9250 Graphics Card and the Visas Force Sight doesn't work. I've read it has something to do with the Frame Buffer Effects. Unfortuantly, I can't seem to enable them. I assume I need to edit the options on my Graphics card except...I have no idea how to do that. Care to be of assistance? Anyone?

That actually supports ps2.0 fully? The cheapest I'd go for is the Radeon 9550 (preferably go for a 9600 though). Cards like the fx5200 technically support ps2 but aren't powerful enough to use it (ie if you play a ps2 game it will be more or less unplayable). How much can you afford to spend?

I guess around $200 budget. I can't spend every cent I have just for a video card!

You can get a GeForce 6600 for under $200. It's a great card for the money, and fully supports PS3.0. Plus, it comes in AGP variants, so the card will work fine on older motherboards, unlike ATI's equivalent card in that price range, the X700 (also a good card, but lacks full PS3.0 support), which only comes in PCI-E variants at the moment.

Sorry to confuse you - the idea with upgrading hardware is that you remove the old hardware and put in something newer and better. So no, there won't be a conflict as the card won't be in there any more.

If you're new to hardware it's a good place to start. We'll be more than happy to talk you through the upgrade process.
