A little question about a certain Jedi

Recommended Posts

Right, so I'm playing through KOTOR2 for third time straight since I got it, early last month.

I'm playing as LS with LS Revan, so I think this only applies if you play it like this, not sure. Just before leaving for Malachor V, we meet Bastila. Well, we see her actually, the Exile doesn't meet her.

So my question is, how did Bastila avoid being found?

Vrook, Zez-Kai-Ell (don't think that is spelt right) and Kavar all hid on worlds abundant in the force, making them hard to find. Where did Bastila hide. I don't think she hid on Telos all this time, since Atris would have found her, and because it was a dead world, with little life on it, I think she would have been rather easy to find.

I think, either she hid somewhere else, then moved to Telos, or she was a bit of a nomad and eventually came to Telos. Maybe she was travelling with Carth all this time.

What do you all think? I would just like to here your thoughts.

Force Bonds. She is bonded w/ the Heart of the Force, plus she personally has the whole Republic army at her back. That could have helped. Plus, she probably has spent most of her time in the Outer Rim searching for her beloved Revan... Battle Meditation would also help if attacked by thugs or puny Sith spies...

Just an idea, of course

Well, the order did oddly collapse soon after Revan dissappeared. Naturally, the two would have wanted to spend as much time together as possible. >_<

I do think that she would have left the Order around the time Revan quit, maybe a little bit before hand, too. The Order was already collapsing, and we all know that Bastila is no optimist.

It was explained sometime during the game that Bastilla left the Jedi Order (LS) so that would explain why Nihilis could not sense her, if she doesnt use her connection to the force, it weakens (Kyle Katarn)

Nice guess Phantom =/

That's true, I almost forgot... However, I personally believe that she did use her powers, but only through her bond w/ Revan. She probably sent out 'pulses' after him, to try and locate him. However, Revan being the shear genius that he is, could easily have hid himself. I like the idea about whatever masking them was shared between the two.

Palpatine is "New Age." The older the Jedi get (in the Star Wars timeline), the more powerful they seem to become.

Edit: Plus, as Kreia said: "Power has blinded (them) long ago."

Who said that crap?

Yoda, Anakin, Luke and Sidious look pretty powerful to me.

I really hate how much superpowerful SW comics have made some characters.

Anakin is supposed to be a child of the Force, so not even the Force users of the old could be as powerful as he.

I was referring to abilities. It is a FACT that abilities have been lost through the ages, for many reasons. The ability to strip the Force was not even mentioned in the OT/NT.

I was referring to 'forbidden techniques', not inherent power.

I'm not sure but I think

Yoda will strip young Luke and Leia from the Force.

Why? If they're untrained in it, then they would leave no signatures. Besides, Vader feels Luke anyway.

Besides, once stripped by the Force, it requires a paradox (like the Exile) to reforge a connection.

Maybe when Luke started his trainning with Obi Wan, became attuned to the force.

Then he would already have his connection, meaning Yoda had not stripped it. Have you read Ulic's 'stripping' in TOTJ? He never feels the Force again, so neither would Luke/Leia if Yoda took it away from them.

The reasons don't matter. If you're stripped of the Force by a Jedi Master, you're never going to feel it again. End of the line.

As that one Jedi Master in TOTJ said, it brings a wall of light around them, and it's as permanent as Death. There's no going back. Ever.

Not the Force, but their ability to touch it, feel it, and manipulate it. It makes a Jedi a shell, but not as extreme as the Exile.

They still have it, they just can't feel it. EVER. AGAIN. AT. ALL.

Whatever is made can be broken, if it is the will of the Force.

Nope. The Will has its limits. Look at the Exile. But that is a discussion for a different time.
