And i have seen some thinks that i really have in games. 1)Locked classes. 2)Locked stats. 3)Well, that character build is millions of years behind the NWNs. They don't treat Paladin as a fighter , but like something else, which i haven't fingure it until now. 4) Graphic aren't really so beatifful, i believe that lineage2 and the coming Vanguard and Tabula rasha have better graphics. And the biggest problem that Blizzards game face is their players community. Have you try to play warcraft 3 in battlenet? Well we start a 4 vs 4 game and in the first 3 min at least 3 player has left . On the other hand (maybe i was lucky) in NWN internet play i have found very few morons. J.E. Sawyer Posted January 2, 2005 Share Posted January 2, 2005 I'm currently playing WoW, which is the only MMORPG that has held my interest for more than a week. I'm playing a paladin on a role-playing server. There's a nice balance between talking ooc and talking in-character. It might be worse on standard or PVP servers. The graphic detail isn't as high as EQ2's, but I'd take Blizzard's lower detail art over EQ2's any day. The game seems pretty smooth and extraordinarily vast. Every time I take a new trip on a griffon, I wind up thinking, "What the hell is that?" when I fly over some new area. Areas like Darkshire and the Wetlands do a great job of creating mood. To be honest, WoW is the first MMORPG I've seen where I feel a sense of dread or awe when entering new areas. MMORPGs are great revenue generators. First you sell people whats basicly just a game engine, then you supply them with servers and say "its YOU who create the game" so they will accept your ridiculously high fee. Its surprising that they havent gone pay to play in the FPS world yet.
