I dont understand this about hard games, I dont enjoy playing games where I have to reload 300times just to yet again fail and resort to cheating. I can understand it in skill-based games like FarCry&Co but I have no understanding of how one can think its enjoyable sit and watch as you desperatly click to save your limp CRPG characters from certain doom for the 16972th time.

"IWD II had some really great AI and combined monster tactics."

Hahaha. No. IWD2 was the second easiest IE game. And, the only "good" AI was when it cheated. Otehrwise it was dumb as bricks most of the time.

Agreed. The AI in the IE games is next to not existant. In fact AI script files are incredibly simple, and the most complex ones just include specific scripting. Difficult battles are only so because of extremely cheap and unstoppable/uninterruptible scripted events or buffed out NPCs.

Then you don't understand the whole point of any game that is not a FPS. In a FPS what count are your reflexes, your wits. In a CRPG what counts is your sense of strategy, your capacity to planify a tactic and implement it to win, or change it if it's not working. If you fail, die, and have to reload, whatever tactic you were using was flawed. If you don't like strategy or thinking while playing games, then CRPGs are not for you. Well, old school CRPGs, that is. :ermm:"

"Agreed. The AI in the IE games is next to not existant."

If you have to twist my words into something they don't mean then perhaps we'd both be better off if you never agree with me.

Thank you for your co-operation.

Yet you deny being a troll. Good fun.

You are welcome.

I thought by now you would have looked up what a troll is. Obviously you haven't. Are you just lazy or is it you need help?

You still angry with li'l ol' me about that thread in which you were the flame guest of honor or is it just you were dropped at birth? :p

Don't waste your time trying to annoy me. I've faced far worse. :)

Eh. I'd wager twisting someone's words so they mean soemthing completely different is a sure sign of a troll.

Next.

Nope, it's not. By that standard, most people, in and outside of the internet are trolls. You will be hard pressed to find anyone who hasn't ever twisted an argument to make a point.

Eh. What am I doing discussing with you?

You'd be hard pressed to find one person who has not at least been a little trollish on the net.

We are all trolls inside.

"What am I doing discussing with you?"

The fact you twisted what i wrote and agreed with the twisted version even though I *never* said anything remotely like it.

Yet another perfectly fine thread hijacked by Volourn and his uncanny efforts of anti-logic and totally unrelated discussion. Stick to the topic and stop wasting electrons.

Waaa.. Waa.. Big Bad. Volo.

You DO realzie that the thread was doing just fine until youd ecided to twist one of my posts resembling a cookstrop right?

Perhaps, if you wouldn't troll me so much you wouldn't have to worry about it.

Afterall, most of the others thread had no problem discussing the topic(s) at hand.

Learn something from other great posters like SP and Eldar. You might be able to mature a little bit.

That's pretty rich. The anti-logic specialist whose interests are comprised of 'his opinions' telling me to mature. Now I've seen everything.

You see Volo, one of the main definitions of a troll is someone who posts just in order to disrupt fruitful discussion. Even if what I post is wrong, I still stay on topic and don't go off on a tangent at the first chance. You, however, do that all the time. You are the troll, Volo, not the rest of us.

Wwrong. The vast majority of my posts are about the topic on hand. then some bozo doesn't like what i post and so decides to make the topic about Volourn instead of continuing the disucssion. Thsoe who do that (ie. you) are the trolls. If someone attacks me I have the right to defend myself. Period. Troll.

LMFAO. Yeah, you sure do focus on the topic as hand. I still remember those 7 or 8 posts in which you kept spamming 'what are you babbling about?' just because you had suffered a brain cell lockup but just couldn't let it be.

Attack you where? It was you who started it all when you started whining about me twisting your post. That might have been a misunderstanding, but it was by no means a personal attack. However you responded with one of your pitiful attempts at wit.

You don't remember clearly obviously since it was mor elike half that number at around 3 or 4 not 7 or 8 (ro maybe I'm not rmemebering clearly, meh). And, you were babbling so I was asking you to clarify. You chose not to so I repeated the question.

I consider someone twisting my words to mean something completely different as an attack. Don't twist posts anymore and there won't be as much problems; but since we both know trolls like you cna't help themslves there will be more.

Your turn, moni amigot. :(

Your not understanding my posts don't make them babble. Maybe it has something to do with your ability to grasp ideas.

I consider someone twisting my words to mean something completely different as an attack.

That's one of the stupidest things I've read from you. And man, you do say a lot of stupid things. So, if somebody just misunderstands you say, at work, you start a fight?
Heh, you are one sad, sad little man.

Hilarious. That expalins why the last time I got into a a fight was in high school which was years. You lose again when making up fictional scenarios.

There's a huge difference between misunderstanding someone. It's another to twist someone words. If you can't see the difference; you are obviously unable to graps the meanings of those two different words.

"Heh, you are one sad, sad little man."

Actually, I am *always* happy. Happy happy joy joy. :">

"Magical Volo, once NWN2 comes out, we should join a clan once again!"

No. That just leads to lawsuits and lawyers. I'll pass.

Misunderstanding someone can lead to mistaken conclusions. Making a point on a mistaken conclusion yields the same result as twisting an argument. The only difference is the intent.

Again, if somebody misinterprets you, you start a fight because you assume they hold you ill will?
You need to get out more often man.

Bingo.

"Again, if somebody misinterprets you, you start a fight because you assume they hold you ill will?"

Huh? Did you rerad my last post. I don't get into fights. Period. And, when I fought way back when it had nothing do with conceptions; but with fists coming wards me.

Come on, dude, pay attention.
